Baked Matar Paneer Bread Pockets

Ingredients

  1. 6bread slices
  2. 1 cupmatar
  3. 200 gmspaneer cubes
  4. 1onion finely chopped
  5. 1green chilli chopped
  6. 1 tbspkasuri methi
  7. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  10. 1/2 tspturmeric
  11. 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  12. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  13. 1/2 tspchaat masala
  14. 1/2 tsproasted cumin powder
  15. Pinchhing
  16. 1 tspoil
  17. 1 tspcumin seeds
  18. 1 tbsppizza sauce
  19. 1 tspgarlic powder
  20. 1 tsporegano

Cooking Instructions

    Make the filling first - in a non stick pan take heat oil and add cumin seeds, let it crackle. Add chopped onions and sauté, add the dry masalas and peas and paneer and cook for 5 mins. Add pizza sauce and mix well. Let the mixture cool down.

    Cut the sides of the bread and roll it gently with a rolling pin.

    Put the stuffing inside and with the help of water seal the sides.

    Place these bread pockets on a baking tray and brush some oil mixed with garlic powder and oregano.

    Bake in the oven at 180 degrees till the bread pockets turn golden brown. Serve with chutney or ketchup.
