Ingredients

  1. As requiredOil for deep frying
  2. ForKachori Dough:
  3. 2 cupsas Maida
  4. 1/2 cupsuji
  5. 1 tspsalt
  6. 1/2 cupdesi ghee
  7. As requiredWater
  8. ForStuffing:
  9. 1 cupSliced onions
  10. 1 cupshredded boiled potatoes
  11. 1 tspHaldi powder
  12. 1 tspdhaniya powder
  13. 2 tspsauf powder
  14. To tasteSalt
  15. 2 tbspKaju
  16. 2 tbspkishmish
  17. 1/2 tspsugar

Cooking Instructions

    Make a hard Kachori dough from the stated ingredients and let it rest for 15-20 mins. Cover it with a damp cloth.

    Heat some oil In a non stick pan and add the kaju and kishmish. Sauté for 1 min On medium high heat.

    Add the onions and sauté will they start changing their colour.

    Add salt, haldi, dhaniya powder, sauf powder and sugar. Mix well

    Now finally add the potatoes and combine the mix properly. Let the mixture cool down.

    Now take small round shape dough balls and flatten them on a clean surface or using your palm.

    Add the desired amount of mix and make Kachori like shape.

  8. 8

    Make sure the Kachori is sealed properly.

  9. 9

    Now fry the Kachori on medium high heat till light golden brown.

  10. 10

    Serve hot with mint or imli chutney.
