This shake tastes super delicious, mainly consumed during fasting days especially for Janmashtami and/or Shivratri. Rajagra ni puri with this shake, kadhi and moraiyo make a yummy farali meal. This shake can also be consumed just with curd and/or with moraiyo.

  9. 1 tspsalt
  10. as required Red chilli powder or black pepper powder
  11. 1 tbsplemon juice
  12. as per taste Sugar

Cooking Instructions

20 min
  1. 1

Thoroughly pressure cook potatoes and sweet potatoes till they are tender. Be prepared to make the shake mean while because you need to use the potatoes while they are still hot to avoid them getting slimy. Oppel them when the cooker cools down. Roughly break them with your hands instead of cutting.

  2. 2

Heat up oil and crackle cumin seeds in a pan. Add green chillies, ginger paste, curry leaves and Sesame seeds. Fry for a second or two.

  3. 3

Next add the potatoes, salt, sugar and the lemon juice. Mix very well. It's ready.
