Ingredients

  1. 1/2Cabbage
  2. 1medium sized Onion
  3. 1Carrot
  4. 2medium sized Green Capsicum
  5. 1 tspOlive Oil
  6. 1/2 tspMustard Seeds
  7. LeavesFew Curry
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. PinchSugar
  10. 1/4 tspBlack Pepper Powder
  11. 1/2 tspOregano
  12. 1 tspLemon Juice
  13. 3 tbspShredded Coconut
  14. as required Chopped Green Coriander Leaves for garnishing (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Cut cabbage, onion, carrot and green capsicum in thin slices and keep aside.

    Heat up the oil in frying pan on medium flame. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Let it crackles and then add onions. Stir for 2 to 3 seconds. Now add cabbage, carrots and green capsicum. Stir fry for 2 to 3 mins till the vegetables gets crisp. Don't overcook.
    Turn off the flame.

    Add salt, sugar, black pepper powder, oregano, shredded coconut and lemon juice. Mix all well.

    Serve warm or at room temperature. You can also garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
