Cooking Instructions

Heat a pan, add rice and moong dal, dry roast for 3 minutes.

Add ghee to the above pan, roast this on a slow flame for another 1 minute, keep it aside.

Take a pressure cooker add water, moong dal and rice mixture, salt, cumin seeds, green chilies, cook it till 3-4 whistles.

Cool it and nicely mashed it.

For Tempering:-

Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, cashew nuts, asafoetida, curry leaves, black pepper and saute it.

Add this in dal rice mixture and Mix it well.

Serve it hot.
