Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsRice flour
  2. 1/4 cupFresh coconut (grated)
  3. 1Carrot (grated)
  4. 1Capsicum (chopped)
  5. 1Onion(finelychopped)
  6. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  7. 1/4 teaspoonAsafoetida
  8. to tasteSalt,
  9. as required Cooking oil, to cook
  10. as required Warm Water

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all the ingredients well and then knead the dough adding little warm water at a time. The dough should be soft. Keep aside for 10 mins.

    Now make small ball from the dough, grease the palm and foil. Put this ball in the center and pat the dough to make circular discs of medium thickness.  

  3. 3

    Heat pan and invert the akki roti onto the pan.

  4. 4

    Cook both sides of the roti, by applying oil on it.
