Ingredients

6 minutes
4 servings
  1. 200 Gm Paneer(grated or crumbled fine)
  2. 100 gmCondensed milk
  3. 400 gm Milk powder (Nestle brand)
  4. 1/4 tspCardamom powder
  5. 2-3 tsp chopped nuts (Pistachios & Almonds)
  6. 1 tspGhee or butter

Cooking Instructions

6 minutes
  1. 1

Take a non stick pan,put the ingredients one by one. First add the grated paneer in the pan.

  2. 2

Then add in the milk powder.

  3. 3

Lastly pour in the condensed milk.

  4. 4

    Now mix everything well.

  5. 5

Now switch on the gas, when it gets heated, keep mixing it with a spatula. When it starts cooking it will first look watery. Keep stirring constantly from all the sides or else it will stick.

  6. 6

This process takes about 5 to 6 minutes. It starts getting thick by this time. Then turn off the gas.

  7. 7

Put cardamom powder in the pan and mix well. And let it cool slightly

  8. 8

In the meantime grease a square tin with ghee or butter and then pour this mixture in it. I used my baking tin here.Press this from the sides evenly with a greased flat spatula.

  9. 9

Put the sliced/chopped nuts on the mixture and gently press it so that they stick to the sweet and let it set in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

  10. 10

Cut them later into squares and serve the Kalakand to your loved ones.

  11. 11

This can be made for any occasion.
