Cooking Instructions

Peel,grate the beetroot. Cook beetroot with 1/4 cup milk for 1 whistle in pressure cooker.

In a pan, add 2 tbsp ghee, cashews, raisins and roast for 2 minutes. Keep it aside.

In the same pan, add cooked beetroot and saute until the water is absorbed.

Then add 1 cup sugar, cardamom powder and cook for 5-8 mins or until it thickens.

Add roasted nuts, 1/4 condensed milk, 2 tbsp ghee and mix well.

Now the tasty delicious Beetroot Halwa is ready to serve.
