Ingredients

  1. 2long bitter gourd
  2. 1medium sized onion sliced
  3. As requiredOil for frying
  4. 1 tspgrinded fennel seeds
  5. 1 tsproasted cummin seeds powder
  6. 1 tspchat masala
  7. As per tasteSalt
  8. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  9. 1 tbsppowdered sugar
  10. 1 tspred chilli powder

    Peel the skin of bitter gourd (karela).Cut into small pieces.Put 2-3tbsp salt and 1tsp turmeric powder.Mix well. Keep this mixture covered for 6-7 hours or overnight.

    After 6-7 hours wash this bitter gourd with water.rub it nicely and squeeze all the water from it.Put it on napkin to get dry.

    Take a pan.Pour oil.Put sliced onions into it.deep fry till golden brown and crispy.

    Now in same oil deep fry the bitter gourd till it get crispy and golden brown.

    Take a bowl.add fried onions and fried bitter gourd.Add all spices in this.

    Chat masala, sugar, cumin seeds powder, fennel seeds powder,red chilli powder and salt (if needed).

    Stir well and it's ready to serve.
