Ingredients

  1. 1 bunchspinach leaves cleaned and chopped
  2. 3-4garlic cloves
  3. 1small green chilli
  4. as neededwater
  5. 2 tspfresh cream for garnishing
  6. 1 tbspbutter
  7. 1 tbspmaida/all-purpose flour
  8. 1 glassmilk
  9. 1bay leaf
  10. 1/4 tspblack pepper Powder
  11. to taste salt
  12. 1 tsporegano
  13. 1dallop butter

Cooking Instructions

    Clean and wash spinach leaves thoroughly. Add water in a pan and allow it to boil vigorously.

    Now add the spianch leaves, cloves and green chilli and blanch for 2 mins.

  3. 3

    Drain out and dip in cold water. This helps the leaves to retain its original colour. Now grind in well in a grinder to make the puree.

    Now take a pan add butter then add maida and bay leaf. Roast a little until it turns aromatic. Keep the flame low. Now add milk and mix well to avoid lumps. Then add salt and pepper

    Let it give a boil, now add the pureed spinach and keep cooking on low to medium flame for 3-4 mins. Add little oregano for extra taste.

    Slurp! hot. Enjoy this soup in winter season with your family.
