Oats are a good source of protein compared to other cereals. They are also a good source of carbohydrates, dietary fibers and essential fats.

Cooking Instructions

Take all the above-mentioned ingredients and mix everything well.
Then keep adding water to get right consistency for your batter.
Note:- The batter should not be too thin or too thick. - 2

Rest the batter for around 20 minutes

Now we will do tempering
Take oil in a pan and then add all ingredients mentioned above for tempering. Mix it well - 5
Then add this into your batter.
Mix everything well.
Let ir rest - 6
Now grease the idli plate with oil and add the batter to the plate.

Place the steamer on medium high flame with water and let it come to a boil.

Plate the idli cooker in the steamer and let it cook for 10 minutes.

Now after the idli is cooked let it cool for a minute and remove it from the plate with help of spoon.
Now your Pat's idli is ready to be served.
