Ingredients

  1. 1 bowlrajma
  2. 3tomatoes
  3. 1onion
  4. 2green chillies
  5. 1 inchginger piece
  6. 1bay leaf
  7. 2cloves
  8. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  9. Pinchasefoetida
  10. 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  11. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  12. 1/4 tspamchur powder
  13. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  14. 1/4 tspgaram masala
  15. as per tasteSalt
  16. As requiredGreen coriander for garnishing
  17. as requiredSome chopped paneer cubes
  18. 2 tbspghee

Cooking Instructions

    First wash & soak rajma for 4 - 5 hours or overnight. Now take rajma in a cooker & add salt to it. Cook it for 4 - 5 whistles at low flame or till rajma becomes soft.

    Now take onion, tomato, ginger & green chillies in a blender & make a smooth puree of it.

    Now heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds, asefoetida, bay leaf, cloves to it. Now add tomato puree to it. Add all spices as mentioned. Cook it for 5 min till oil releases from the corner. Add rajma to it. Garnish with coriander & paneer cubes. Serve it with steamed rice & salad.
