Ingredients

  1. regular oil or mustard oil
  2. 2bayleaf
  3. 1.5 tspSaunf (fennel seed/powder)
  4. 1 tspmustard
  5. 1 tspjeera
  6. 2dried red chilli
  7. 2green chillies
  8. 1.5 tspginger+garlic paste
  9. 3 clovesor equivalent qty powder powder
  10. Step 3
  11. 2 tspdhania
  12. 1 tspturmeric
  13. 1.5 tspchilli powder
  14. 1-1.5 tspgaram masala/rajma masala
  15. Veggies
  16. 2x14 oz cans rajma or equivalent pre-soaked rajma
  17. 1onion
  18. 1 cantomatoes or 5 tomatoes
  19. mushroom (optional)
  20. bread crumbs (optional)

Cooking Instructions

45 mins
  1. 1

    Heat oil in pan.
    Add mustard, jeera, dried red chilli, green chilli, bayleaf, ginger+garlic paste, saunf and cloves.

    Add onions and mushroom (optional) -- wait for some time -- Tomato -- let it cook

  3. 3

    Add dhania, turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala/rajma masala (try without once)

  4. 4

    Option 1: Add pre soaked rajma+water. Put it in pressure coooker. Crush it to make it a little thicker. Toasted bread crumbs to garnish

    Option 2: Add canned rajma (remove canned liquid) and let it cook well.
