Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmaida
  2. 1/2 cuprice flour
  3. 1/4 cupsuji
  4. 1/4 cupsugar
  5. 2 cupsmilk
  6. 2-3 tbspvegetable oil
  7. Stuffing
  8. 1 cupdesiccated coconut (better fresh grated coconut)
  9. 1/2 cupkhoya kheer readymade
  10. 1/2 cupliquid nolen gur
  11. 1/4 cupmilk
  12. 2 tbspghee

Cooking Instructions

    Take a large bowl and sift rice flour, maida, semolina and mix the flours. Gradually, add milk and powder sugar 1 tbsp to make a smooth batter. Make sure that the batter is not too flowy not to thick. Keep the batter aside

    In a pan and add the dessicated coconut, roast the coconut till it turns golden in colour. Then add in nolen gur along with some milk and khoya kheer. Cook the stuffing and add milk to bind the stuffing

    Heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Pour a ladle full of batter in it and spread into a medium sized pancake and let the underside cook.

    Put a spoonful of mixture length wise, roll and cook, flip the side turn golden brown. Serve with nolen gur aside or sprinkle on top of your patishapta.
