Ingredients

  1. 200 gramsTo marinate chicken boneless chicken
  2. 1 tsp ginger garlic
  3. 2 teaspoonHung curd
  4. 1/2 tspLemon juice
  5. 1 tspKashmiri chilli powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoonGaram masala
  7. 1/2 tspSalt
  8. 1 tbspOil
  9. To make masala paste :-

  11. 1 TbspOil -
  12. 2Onion - Chopped
  13. 1 TspGinger & Garlic -
  14. 3Tomato - Chopped
  15. 3Kashmiri Red Chili -
  16. 1 TspSalt -
  17. 1 TspCumin Powder -
  18. 1/2 TspCoriander Powder -
  19. 1 TspGaram Masala -
  20. 2 TbspWater -
  21. 10 Cashew Nuts
  22. 1/4 CupWater -
  23. To make butter chicken
  24. 2 TbspButter -
  25. 1 TspKashmiri Chili Powder -
  26. as required Water
  27. 1/4 CupFresh Cream -
  28. as required Kasuri Methi Coriander

Cooking Instructions

    To a bowl, add the boneless chicken pieces, pound ginger garlic,hung curd, lemon juice,red chilli powder, garam masala and salt

    Mix everything well, and marinate the chicken for about 30 minutes

    Heat a pan add oil. Fry the marinated chicken pieces mixture till they are cooked and keep it aside.

    In a pan heat oil and butter,add onions and saute them till they are transparent

  5. 5

    Add the pound ginger garlic and mix it well. Then add tomatoes saute them.

    Add kashmiri red chillies and saute

    Add salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder.add some water and cook till the tomatoes are mushy

    Then add cashew nuts and saute for 5 minutes. Cool down the cooked masala and grind it to a fine paste by adding water.

    Heat the same pan,add butter,red chilli powder and keep the flame on low.add the ground puree to the the pan.saute and add water.

    Add the fried chicken pieces and mix it well.add fresh cream mix it and simmer the gravy for about 10 minutes by closing the kadai.

    Finally, add crushed kasuri methi and coriander leaves and mix well

    Garnish some butter and coriander leaves.

    Serve the butter chicken hot with naan, roti or pulao and rice
