Ingredients

  1. Dry mix
  2. 1/2 pounduncooked sausage
  3. 2 cupsyellow cornmeal
  4. 1 cupdiced onion
  5. 1 cupall-purpose flour
  6. 1 teaspoonground black pepper
  7. 1 teaspoongranulated garlic powder
  8. 1 teaspoonsalt
  9. 2-1/2 teaspoonsbaking powder
  10. 1 cupsoftened butter salted
  11. Wet mix
  12. 2large egg
  13. 1-2/3 cupmilk
  14. 2 tablespoonsrice vinegar
  15. 1-1/3 cupcondensed cream of Mushroom soup

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 425° Fahrenheit. Gather the ingredients cornmeal, diced onion, flour, butter, seasonings, baking powder, and sugar. Knead together.

    Add sausage, eggs, and knead well.

  3. 3

    Add the milk, vinegar, and cream of Mushroom soup. Mix very well form like a batter. Pour into a nonstick pan. Bake 22-28 minutes or until the sides are pulled away from the pan.
