Ingredients

10-15 minutes
3-4 servings
  1. 4-5boiled aloo
  2. 1Bay leaf
  3. 1/2 teasp turmeric powder
  4. 3/4 teasp red chilli powder
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 2-3 teasp Oil
  7. 2-3 teasp ghee for tempering
  8. Red chilli/kashmiri red chilli powder for tempering
  9. Kasuri Methi optional
  10. leavesCoriander
  11. 1/2 teasp coriander powder
  12. 1/2 teasp Amchur powder
  13. 1/2 teasp cumin seeds
  14. 1 pinchhing
  15. 1Cardamom
  16. 3/4 teasp crushed cloves and black pepper
  17. 1small stick cinnamon optional

Cooking Instructions

10-15 minutes
  1. 1

    First heat the oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, hing and bay leaf. Allow it to crackle. Add crushed cloves, cinnamon and black pepper.saute.

    Add chopped tomato. Saute. Add all the spices. Cook for a few minutes. Add boiled aloo pieces. Mix well. Add water as needed. Cover and cook for another few minutes.

    Prepare tempering by adding cumin seeds, red chilli powder in heated ghee in a pan. Add it to the curry. Mix. It's ready. Serve with poori, raita etc.
