Guvarfali Subji and Rice

Ingredients

3 serves
  1. 300 GramsGuvar fali
  2. 1onion
  3. 1tomato
  4. 4green chillies
  5. 4 clovesgarlic
  6. 1 tspGinger garlic chilli paste
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1 tspchilli powder
  9. 1 tspturmeric powder
  10. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  11. 1/2 cupwater
  12. 1 tbspoil
  13. 1 tspmustard cumin and carrom seeds
  14. 1/2 tspAsafoetida

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cut and wash Guvar fali.
    Finely chopped tomatoes onions chilli and garlic.

    In a pressure cooker add oil.
    Add mustard Cumin and carom seeds to crackle,add asafoetida..
    Now add chillies and garlic pieces and sauté..
    Add chopped onion and tomato followed by chili garlic ginger paste.saute till oil release.

    Now add salt,chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, Fresh coriander and mix properly.
    Now time to add Guvar fali and water.mix them.
    When water starts boiling, Cover the lid and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
    Switch off the gas.

    When the pressure cooker cools down,open it and transfer the subji in a bowl,
    Sprinkle fresh coriander.
    Serve with Basmati Rice..
