Ingredients

  1. 150 gramstur daal
  2. 100 gramsurad daal
  3. 50 gramsMoong daal
  4. 150 gramsraw papaya cube cut
  5. 150 gramscube cut ash gourd
  6. 1 piecetomato cubes
  7. Halfpiece capsicum cube
  8. 1 piececarrot long cut
  9. 100 gramsdrums stick 1 inch cut
  10. 15 mlripe tamarind pulp
  11. 1and half teaspoon sambar masala
  12. 1 spoonrefined oil
  13. 25 gramsbutter
  14. 20-25curry leaves
  15. 1 teaspoonblack mustard seed
  16. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder, lal mirch powder, kashmiri laal mirch powder
  17. Salt and sugar to taste
  18. 4 piecesDry Chilli

Cooking Instructions

    Boil all the lentils together in pressure cooker smoothly. Now with a spoon of refined oil boil mix all the vegetables except tomato and boil it in water. When the vegetables get semi boiled add tomato cubes and masalas. Add salt and sugar according to taste.

    After boiling for 10 minutes in low medium flame mix the boiled vegetables into the pressure cooker with boiled dal. Now in low flame cook it for nearly 5 minutes. When the daal gets thickened in a frying pan heat butter.

    Now make the tarka with dry chillies, black mustard seed, curry leaves. Spread it on the prepared daal. Now it's totally got ready Sambar Daal Tadka.
