Ingredients

15 minutes
8-10 people
  1. 2 1/2 cupall-purpose flour
  2. 1 cupgranulated sugar
  3. 1 cupmelted butter
  4. 2eggs at room temprature
  5. 1 tspsalt
  6. 1 tbspvanilla essence or powder
  7. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  8. 2 cupschopped dark chocolate

Cooking Instructions

15 minutes
  1. 1

These yummy cookies are super easy to make and it will come out perfect just like the bakery one if you follow the perfect recipe with all the tips. Firstly make sure every ingredient except chocolates are on room temperature. For this recipe you can use chocolate chips also in the same quantity as chopped chocolate but if you want an excellent bakery style cookies then you must use chocolate chunks. You can use semi sweet chocolates also but in that case use a little bit less sugar.

  2. 2

Chop the chocolate in big and small chunks so that at the time of baking it melts an spread all over the cookies and end up in melt in mouth cookies. Use melted butter so that it combines well with the sugar and gives a texture of clarified butter after beating with electric hand mixer or by whisk. Now let's start the process firstly chop the chocolate in small and big chunks and keep it aside now in a big bowl add the butter and blend it for 2-3 minutes then add all the sugar and blend it.

  3. 3

Blend it until the sugar completely dissolves and the butter is light and pale in colour. Then crack one egg at a time and blend again until it combines well then crack the second egg and repeat the same process. Blend it till the time the mixture gets light. Now in other bowl add salt, baking soda and vanilla powder to the all-purpose flour and mix well. Now add 3-4 tbsp flour mix to the wet mixture and mix well by cut and fold method. Add all the flour mix in 4-5 batch.

  4. 4

At last it will look like a semi solid dough. Now add all the chopped chocolates and mix again really well. Then put this dough in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. You can even store this dough in the refrigerator for about a week. And when you want to make the cookies take it out make small balls of dough and bake it.
By keeping the dough 1 hour in the refrigerator will bind the dough and enhance it's flavour. Meanwhile line the baking tray or dish with parchment or wax or butter paper.

  5. 5

Then take out the dough from the refrigerator and take a measuring cup or anything so that all the cookies are of same size. These cookies are quite big in size so I'mein using the smallest 1/4 measuring cup. I will measure the dough with this cup and make round balls of it. Put only 5 or 6 balls on your baking tray or put according to the size of your tray. These cookies will expand and flatten while baking so make sure there is enough space between each ball dough.

  6. 6

Put rest of the dough in the refrigerator immediately and meanwhile preheat the oven at 190°C for 20 minutes after that put the baking tray in the oven and bake the cookies at 190°C for 13-15 minutes. Don't bake for more than 15 minutes. At first the cookies will be guey and soft but don't bake it again it will get perfect when it cools down. Transfer the cookies on the cooling rack and allow it to cool down completely. Likewise make all the cookies and bake it and cool down when baked.

  7. 7

Once all the cookies cool down then put it in an airtight container and leave it on room temperature and it will be good for about a month. Follow all the tips and make these delicious cookies and enjoy with your loved ones.
    Happy Baking 😊
