Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupWhole wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cupOats
  3. 2riped banana
  4. 1 tspBaking powder
  5. 1/2 tspBaking soda
  6. 1/2 cupSugar
  7. 1/4 cupmilk
  8. 1/4 cupOil
  9. 1/2 tspVanilla extract
  10. as neededExtra oats for garnish
  11. as neededWhite and black sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    In a mixing bowl sieve the flour, baking powder and baking soda.

    Add the oats and mix them well together.

    In a mixing bowl mash the bananas with fork or you can use a blender.

    Add sugar, milk, oil, vanilla essence to the mashed banana and mix.

    Add the flour mixture and gently fold them to make a smooth batter.

    Grease a cake pan and preheat oven @180° for 10 mins.

  7. 7

    Pour the batter into the greased pan and garnish with oats and sesame seeds.

    Bake at preheated oven for 30 mins. A toothpick inserted should come out clean.

    Remove from oven, let it cool down, invert, cut and serve.
