Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmoong dal paste
  2. 1/2 cupchilke wali moong dal paste
  3. 1 tbspginger green chillies paste
  4. 1/4 tspheeng
  5. 1 tbspoil for greasing the pan
  6. 2 cupscurd
  7. 1 tbspsugar
  8. 1/4 tspkala namak
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. 1 tspjeera powder
  11. 1 tspred chilli powder
  12. 2 tbspfinely chopped coriander

    In a mixing bowl combine together moong dal paste, chilke wali moong dal paste, ginger green chillies paste and heeng, mix well

    Heat appe pan on low heat, grease the moulds of the pan with little oil

  3. 3

    Now put the batter in each mould, with a spoon, cook on low heat, by turning them at regular intervals, until becomes light brown from all the sides

    Soak the ready badas in warm water along with some salt for 15 minutes, then squeeze out the extra water from them and keep them aside

  5. 5

    Then blend the curd with salt and sugar, then put the badas in the curd. Take out the badas and arrange them in a serving plate, garnish with red chilli powder, jeera powder and chopped coriander, pour some extra curd in the bowl
