My Family's Favourite Naan My Family's Favourite Naan
I used to go to a restaurant that specialised in curry, and the Indian chef made really great authentic Indian curry. The naan from that restaurant was amazing.Pan-fry the naan well until until it changes colour from white to cream. It will make the naan fluffy.Stretching out the dough by hand instead of using a rolling pin makes the surface bumpy, and looks more like authentic naan.Authentic naan for curry is usually brushed with simple syrup, and goes well with spicy curry. Air Fryer Naan / Flat Bread Air Fryer Naan / Flat Bread
I love Naan especially fresh and hot. It is surprising easy to do in your air fryer and because you are using an air fryer, you don't get any smoke like you do when you use a cast iron pan. This recipe is super flexible. You can use different sweeteners though they need to be sugar in nature for the yeast to work. As well, you can mix in things like dried fruit just before you let the dough prove; make sure your mix ins don't contain salt or too much moisture. If you want something that is whole wheat based, you can swap 2 cups of flour for it.If you feel like adding some seasoning to the rolled out dough before you air fry it, that works too. Just remember that seasoning in the air fryer goes a long ways Chris Jordan -

Chewy and Light Naan Bread Chewy and Light Naan Bread
I wanted to eat naan that's chewy and moist like the naan at Indian restaurants.By spreading the dough with oil, it becomes easier to flatten, and doesn't stick to your hands.Stretch the dough out in your hands, rather than rolling it outMake the dough bumpy rather than uniformly flat. Handmade Naan (Approved by My Mother-in-Law) Handmade Naan (Approved by My Mother-in-Law)
The naan from the local shop is mediocre, so I always make this recipe at home.I am still trying to make an even more delicious naan! This recipe has got more sugar than normal bread, but the taste will be less sweet than you think. Please add more bread flour if your dough is too sticky, as it depends on the flour and yogurt. However, the ideal dough is slightly sticky!I recommend you cook this naan on a frying pan rather than the oven! Indian Naan Bread: Add Toppings or Serve Plain Indian Naan Bread: Add Toppings or Serve Plain
I usually buy naan, but I made it this time to go with a curry. When I ate the freshly baked naan that was topped with aromatic cumin seeds and coriander, I was amazed at how easy, delicious and economical it was. It made me think I should make it every time instead of buying it.The dry yeast is active if it foams after adding the lukewarm water. If using fresh coriander leaves, you can knead it into the dougn in steps 4-5; it's delicious and I recommend it.Please adjust the amount of liquid if needed depending on the environment, temperature and so on. For 3 naan. Recipe by Plabar cookpad.japan
