Cooking Instructions
- 1
Peel and slice the parsnips thinly (less than 1mm if you can - be careful with those fingers!!!).
- 2
Toss the slices in enough vegetable oil to cover them and season with salt and pepper. Be generous with the pepper.
- 3
Preheat the air fryer to 190C/375F for a couple of minutes.
- 4
Lay out the slices evenly in the air fryer (ideally not overlapped, but they will probably move around during cooking anyway). You may need to cook in small batches.
- 5
Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the parsnips from time to time to ensure even cooking.
- 6
Once cooked (golden brown all over), turn off the air fryer but leave the chips inside to cool gently and crisp up.

My Curried Fish and Chips
I made this a few weeks ago, and the family loved it. You have to be careful frying the fish as not to break it up too much. I used a mild Curry, but with the fish, fish sauce and lemon juice its a lovely tangy tasty Curry.

Sweet Potato Chips
I love the salty butter flavor of "Osatsudoki" snacks, and wondered if I could recreate it at home. I gave it a try and my family loved it.☆So I published the recipe. If you slice the sweet potato too thick, it's difficult to quick-fry. Please be sure to adjust the flavor in Step 1. I added salt last, and it was nothing but a lump of salt in the end.I'm scared of flying hot oil, so I combined the oil and the sweet potato together. The oil doesn't have to be pre-warmed for you to be able to quick-fry.
