Cabbage rolls with a Korean twist! Kimchi for the cabbage, and a kimchi jjigae inspired broth for the sauce. These were so good, I did not have any leftovers. Wear food safe gloves when assembling so you don’t stain your hands like I did :,)

Ingredients

40 mins
7-8 rolls
  1. 1whole cabbage kimchi
  2. filling:
  3. 1/4 lbground pork
  4. 1/8 cupdiced onions
  5. 1/8 cupdiced carrots
  6. 1/8 cupdiced mushrooms
  7. 1 cloveminced garlic
  8. 1 tspminced ginger
  9. 1/2 tbspoyster sauce
  10. 1 tspsoy sauce
  11. 1 tspblack pepper
  12. broth:
  13. 1 cupdashi
  14. 1 tspsugar
  15. 1 tspgochugaru
  16. 1 tbspgochujang
  17. 1 tbspkimchi brine
  18. topping:
  19. sesame seeds
  20. green onions

Cooking Instructions

40 mins
  1. 1

    Mix the filling ingredients together.

  2. 2

    Separate the cabbage leaves of the whole kimchi and lay them flat. Scoop some filling on the bottom and roll your way up.

  3. 3

    Line them onto a pan and mix in the broth ingredients. Cover and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes.

    Top with sesame seeds and green onions and enjoy :)
