Brussel Sprouts with bacon

This is a dish I don't mind cooking for myself since I am the only one who eats it at home. Not everyone is a fan of brussel sprouts but I became a fan when I went to an Italian restaurant owned by Chef Fabio from Top Chef. I ordered brussel sprouts and they were amazing. I didn't ask for the recipe but figure out it had bacon. I added my own touch and I fell in love. Can't stop making them since then.

Brussel Sprouts with bacon

Ingredients

  1. 1 lbBrussel Sprouts (halved) TIP: when buying, try to buy the smaller ones. They have a better taste. Or buy them on the stalk.
  2. 2 tbspButter
  3. 1/4 lbBacon
  4. 2 tbspSun dried tomatoes
  5. 1as needed Everyday seasoning from Trader Joes (sea salt,mustard seeds, black peppercorns, coriander, onion, garlic,paprika, chili pepper)

Cooking Instructions

    Cut each strip of bacon in 1/4 in. Cook the bacon on a pan and dry on paper towels. Put aside.

    Melt the butter in a pan and add the brussel sprouts for about 4 minutes.

    Add the sun dried tomatoes and the seasoning for another 3-4 minutes.

    Add the bacon to the pan and mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Serve and enjoy.
