Fresh veges does it for me... you can use the other bell peppers to enhance the color and presentation
Cooking Instructions

Wash the vegetables in clean running water

Pluck the soft parts of the lettuce leaves
- 3
Cut the tomatoes into 4 equal wedges
- 4
Cut the onions into rings
- 5
Cut the cucumber into half rings
- 6
Cut the bell pepper into rings too
- 7
In a clear dish, put the tomato wedges at two opposite corners of the dish e.g. NE and SW, next to them, put the cucumbers and the onion rings on them, put the lettuce and on top of the lettuce put tomatoes on the other opposite corners i.e. NW and SE. then the onion tings and finally, top them with the bell pepper rings.

Using a pestle, put the ginger, garlic, lemon juice, oil and salt, and mash till smooth. Add a little black pepper. That's the salad dressing. Serve chilled with the garden salad.

It was 125F degrees yesterday afternoon outside in the kitchen garden. 51 Celcius. Thin skinned tomatoes split and cooked on the vine. The green peppers scorched. The armenian cucumbers wilted. The grapes split and shriveled. The summer squash have burn spots on them. I grow these veggies in big 3’ wide, 2’ deep cloth planterpots with handles, so I can drag them to spots that get less afternoon sun. I harvested the sun damaged ones, made this improbably huge salad with lemon, olive oil, pepper. Served with 4 chipotle pork ribs on top of baked summer squash. And wine margeritas.
