Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsflour
  2. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  3. 2 cupschopped cabbage
  4. 6chicken pieces
  5. 2scotch bonnet peppers
  6. 1large onion
  7. 2stock cubes
  8. 1 teaspoongarlic powder
  9. 1 teaspooncurry powder
  10. 1African nutmeg
  11. 1/4 cupoil
  12. 1/4 cuppeas

Cooking Instructions

    Pour flour in a bowl. Add the salt and mix.

    Add water enough to form a soft dough.

    Drop the chicken pieces into the pan and cook both sides turning until tender.

    Cover with kitchen cloth and set aside.

    Meanwhile, pour oil in already heating sauce pan.

  6. 6

    Add the onion, garlic powder, and curry powder.

  7. 7

    Add the grated scotch bonnets, ground nutmeg and stock cubes.

    Stir fry for a minute, then add the peas and cabbage.

  9. 9

    Continue frying for 2 minutes. Take Off the heat.

    Knead the dough again and divide into 6 balls.

    Sprinkle flour on pastry board and roll the balls to flat circles.

  12. 12

    Heat a non stick pan and cook the flattened dough on both sides till slightly golden.

    Serve with the prepared chicken and cabbage stir fry sauce.
