Ingredients

  1. 12 tablespoonsmilk powder
  2. 4 tablespoonsmaida
  3. 1 tablespoonmelted ghee
  4. 2 pinchsoda
  5. 1small tin of eveporated rainbow milk
  6. Forsyrup-
  7. 2 Cupssugar
  8. 2 Cupswater
  9. 1 pinchsaffron
  10. 1/4 tspcardamom powder

Cooking Instructions

    Take first five ingredients in a big bowl and make small balls.

  2. 2

    Fry them in not very hot oil on low flame

  3. 3

    Don't use ladle much to turn them
    Handle delicately

  4. 4

    For syrup- Take sugar and water in a bowl.

  5. 5

    Boil for 20 mins on medium till you feel syrup gets sticky.

  6. 6

    Add pinch kesar and elaichi powder.

  7. 7

    Close the gas and let the syrup be warm, not hot when you immerse fried Gulab Jamuns.

  8. 8

    Let gulab jamuns sit in the syrup for a few hours before serving.
