Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsflour
  2. Pinchsalt
  3. 3 tbspsugar or your taste
  4. 1 tbspyeast
  5. 1 sachetpeak milk
  6. 2 tbspbutter
  7. 1egg

    Sieve flour set aside

    In a bowl pour warm water. Just warm. Add milk and whisk

    Pour in the yeast without mixing. You know it is ready when it looks creamy

    Break egg in. Melt butter and pour in. Add sugar and salt. Mix.

    Gently turn in flour and turn gently.

    Then knead it.

    Cover and place in warm place for 30 minutes to rise. It may stay longer if it large quantity.

    Push the risen dough back in. Cut in circle and keep aside.

    Take the dough one by one and use hand to make a rope

    Place on a flat top. Lay both hands at middle of the long dough; turn one side in clockwise with one hand and anti clockwise with another hand.

    Lift it up and allow it to swirl around itself. Hold the end so does not loosen out.

    Allow to rise for 10 minutes. Then turn the twisted dough to the other sides to also rise.

    Pour oil for deep frying. Turn heat to low level so the doughnuts do not brown without frying well inside. Allow the oil to heat a little and fry so it can fry well.
