Ugu Rice

I was thinking of incorporating ugu leaves to white rice but couldn't decide how. Do I add it lastly after the rice is done ( I.e steam) or what?
I now thought of stir frying it and the results was awesome.
My family really enjoyed it and were asking for more

Cooking Instructions

Sauté the onions with the oil. Add in the carrots and seasoning and fry for 2-3mins. Add in the ugu leaves and mixed spices. Stir for 5mins. Add in the rice and mix thoroughly. Add in 2 tbsp of water and steam.

Serve with stew or sauce. I served mine with offal stew
