Ingredients

  1. 1big sized onion sliced
  2. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  3. As per taste red chilli powder
  4. As per taste salt
  5. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  6. As per taste chat masala
  7. As required oil for frying
  8. 1small bowl besan
  9. As required water to make batter

Cooking Instructions

    Take besan in a bowl add water and make a smooth lump free batter.

    Now add all spices. Mix it well.

  3. 3

    Now add 2 tbsp suji and whisk again. Keep aside for 15-20 mins.

    Slice onion, it shud be little thick.

  5. 5

    Now mix onion into the batter, fry until golden and crisp. Enjoy with coriander chutney.

You made it the kolkata way... I love it. But in Delhi, they chop the onion like round salad cut n then dip it in besan batter n fry.. That doesn't taste so well like yours. 😋
