Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsflour
  2. 3 tbspsugar
  3. 1/2 tspsalt
  4. 3 tbsppowdered milk
  5. 2 tspyeast
  6. 1/2 cup+2tbsp water
  7. 1/4 cupbutter
  8. Sesame seeds(optional)
  9. For Roux
  10. 1 1/2 tspflour
  11. 6 tbspwater
  12. Milk and butter for wash the bread

Cooking Instructions

    Mix 1 1/2 tsp flour and 6 tbsp water in a pan and cook on low heat, whisk on till it gets thicken, transfer into a bowl and cover with clingfilm and keep aside.

    For the yeast mixture, add little sugar in 1/2 cup of lukewarm water, mix well and add the 2 tsp of yeast. mix, cover and keep in a warm place for like 10min.

    For the dough mix the flour, milk, sugar, salt together, Add in the roux and yeast mixture. Knead the till smooth, it will still be a little sticky. After that add in the butter and knead really well till its smooth, Place it in a bowl, cover and let it rise for an hour.

    After an hour of rising, punch the dough, sprinkle little flour and knead for a minute. Cut into 5-7 pieces depending on hour big you want them, shape it to a bun and place on the baking try, cover and let it rise again.

    After rising the second time, milk wash it and sprinkle sesame seed and bake in the oven for 15/20 mins. When its done apply some butter on the bread buns, cover with damp clothes till it cools down. Enjoy😘

    PS: dont mind the almost burnt buns, I nearly forgot them in the oven..🤘🏽
