Ingredients

  1. Flour
  2. Baobab powder
  3. Potash
  4. For the dressing
  5. Oil
  6. Tomato(optional)
  7. Onion(optional)
  8. cubesBullion
  9. Pepper or spicy chilli powder
  10. Cucumber (optional)
  11. Eggs (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl, pour in your seived flour and baobab powder (not much) mix them together

  2. 2

    In another bowl, put in your potash and add water to it

  3. 3

    Sieve the potash water into your flour mixture and mix it to a paste

  4. 4

    Get a pot of boiling water and put the paste little by little like the size below

  5. 5

    Allow to cook for atleast 8-10 minutes and then seive into cold water

  6. 6

    Slice your onion, tomato, cucumber and boiled eggs

  7. 7

    Fry you oil

  8. 8

    To set it or dress, put your danwake dumplings into a plate or bowl, add a little amount of oil, add in your bullion cube and mix, then add your veggies along with the egg and lastly add your pepper. Mix in and eat. A cold drink is required for those that don't like pepper
