Ingredients

  1. 1 cupBasmati rice
  2. 1 tbspGhee
  3. 1bay leaf
  4. 2-3cardamom
  5. 1star anise
  6. 1 inchcinnemom stick
  7. 2-3cloves
  8. 1 tspCumin seeds
  9. 1 tspFennel seeds coursly grinded
  10. 10-12saffron strings dilute in water
  11. 1/2Apple
  12. 1 cuppineapple juice
  13. 7-8Dry cranberry
  14. 7-8Lotus seeds (Makhana)
  15. 7-8Cashewnuts
  16. 7-8Almonds
  17. 2 tbspKissmiss(raisins)
  18. 1/2pine apple
  19. 1 tbspDry ginger powder
  20. as neededCherry Apple slice for garnishing
  21. 1 tbsp.Sugar

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and Soak Basmati rice for 1/2hr.

    Heat ghee in a pan add cinemon cardamom bay leaf star and cloves. Crackle cumin seeds and add chopped apple dice and chopped pineapple.Add kissmiss dry cranberry cashewnuts nLotus seeds (makhana) Almond saute for a min. and add rice without water. Saute rice coat with ghee and shine add salt coarsly grinded fennel seeds and dry ginger powder mix well. Add fresh pineapple juice. And 1cup water. Stir lightly cover and cook on slow flame. 5-7min.

    Now open the lid add saffron water and sugar (obt).And cook for 2-3min. Turn off flame and serve. Delicious healthy Fruits and Nuts Pulav is ready to Serve. Garnish with apple slices and cherry.
