I came up with this recipe by completely infusing the bread with the egg mixture, then slowly frying it until it's entirely cooked through.4-slice bread (3-cm thick slices) give a fluffy and delicious finish. They burn easily, so fry over low heat. Be sure to cover the pan with a lid. The time it takes to cook will vary depending on the thickness of the bread. I used thick sliced (3 cm) bread. I had half a loaf of stale bread that I'd bought a week and a half ago before the lockdown began, so I did this to revive it. Without any other added ingredients it can be eaten savoury or sweet as one likes. The egg and milk in the proportions given seem to be almost exactly enough for six slices of sandwich bread.

My father used to make French toast all the time. As I grew up I wanted to make it. So through trial and error I came up with this recipe. My father's used to be a little soggy, but mine is not. This is sure to be a quick, and easy meal. Cinnamon is optional, so is syrup.
