Ingredients

  1. 1 cupthinly sliced onions
  2. 1/2 cupbesan (gram flour)
  3. 1 tbspchopped green chillies
  4. 1/2 tsphaldi (turmeric powder)
  5. 1 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1 tbspcoriander powder
  7. 1/2 tspcumin powder (jeera)
  8. 1/2 tspcarom seeds(ajwain)
  9. 1 tspChaat masala
  10. 1/2 cupdhania (coriander leaves)
  11. to tasteSalt
  12. As neededOil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Take onions in a bowl. Add salt, mix well and set aside for 5 mins

    While the onions rest, heat oil in a kadai.

  3. 3

    Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, carom seeds, and coriander leaves and mix well. Add gram flour and mix well.

    Drop small portion of the onion mixture in the hot oil and fry until crispy golden brown. Drain on kitchen towel.

    Sprinkle Chaat masala on bhajiyas and mix.

  6. 6

    Serve the bhajiyas with ketchup/chutney.
