Ingredients

  1. 3-4 pcsbig white onion
  2. Stuffing: Meat mixture
  3. 1/4 kgground meat
  4. 1 cupEgyptian rice, washed
  5. 1/2 tsppaprika powder
  6. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  7. 1/4 cuppomegranate sauce
  8. 1/4 cupolive oil
  9. 1/2 tspblack lemon powder
  10. 1/2 tspbaharat
  11. 1/4 cupparsley, chopped
  12. 1/4 cuponion, minced
  13. Salt and black pepper
  14. Mix;
  15. 2 cupsbeef/chicken broth
  16. 2 cupswater
  17. 1/4 cuppomegranate syrup

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the onions, trim the ends then make a cut down on one side, cutting into the center from top to bottom.

    Cook in boiling water for 15 minutes. Remove from boiling water and allow to cool. After that separate from layer.

    In a bowl, put all the meat mixture then mix it well.

    Place 1-2 tsp of meat mixture in each layer of the onions and wrap it.

    In a pan, put broth, water, and pomegranate syrup. Put 1 of cinnamon stick and 1 dry bay leaves. Then arrange the stuffed onions in the pan.

    Bring to boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan and simmer for about 1 hour.

    Put in plate, put some garnish up, (optional) then Serve.

I love making different kinds of food,.I'm not a professional chief but i had a knowledge for cooking.And i learned all this thru my hobby to search and discover some kind of foods..😊😊😊😍😍😍But most of my foods are Arabic foods,,and i don't have Filipino food but doesn't mean i dont know how to cook Filipino food..
