The hallmark of this stir-fried broccoli and carrots with garlic is the topping of fried chopped garlic. Honestly, I think this elevates the dish to a whole new level compared to regular stir-fries 😍. The aroma, fragrance, and savory taste of the fried garlic infuse into the sauce 😍❤️.

Moreover, the cooking process doesn't take long. The ingredients are simple, practical, and healthy 😍. Suitable for children, adults, and seniors. In this recipe, I also include TIPS to make the broccoli greener, making it more visually appealing 😍.

Let's cook again! 👩‍🍳❤️

Ingredients

20-30 minutes
2-3 people
  1. 1large head of broccoli, cut into florets, soak in salt water
  2. 1carrot, sliced diagonally
  3. 3 clovesgarlic, chopped
  4. as neededSugar, salt, pepper, broth powder/seasoning
  5. as neededOil/margarine
  6. Seasoning
  7. 2 clovesgarlic, chopped
  8. 1 tablespoonoyster sauce
  9. 1 teaspoonsoy sauce
  10. 1 teaspoonsesame oil
  11. as neededHot water
  12. 2 tablespoonscornstarch, dissolved in a little water

Cooking Instructions

20-30 minutes
  1. 1

Fry 3 cloves of chopped garlic until golden yellow. Set aside. (TIPS: To prevent burning, use low heat and stir continuously. Then immediately remove when the garlic is golden yellow / one shade lighter than desired. This is because the garlic continues to cook after being removed, resulting in a darker color).

  2. 2

Boil water. Add sliced carrots. Add 1/2 tablespoon salt and 1/2 tablespoon sugar. Once the carrots are slightly tender, add the broccoli. Add 1 tablespoon salt and 1 tablespoon sugar. Cook on high heat for a maximum of 1 minute or until half-cooked. Remove, drain, and rinse under running water. (TIPS: This method is used to achieve greener broccoli and non-pale carrots 😍).

  3. 3

Sauté 2 cloves of chopped garlic until fragrant. Add broccoli and carrots. Add hot water, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, pepper, and broth powder if needed.

  4. 4

Adjust the taste to your preference. Once the taste is right, pour in the cornstarch solution. Remove from heat.

  5. 5

Serve with the first batch of fried chopped garlic on top. Practical, healthy, and suitable for children to seniors 😍👍🏻.
