Ingredients

  1. 5 cupsflour
  2. 3 cupswarm water
  3. 1 tbspyeast
  4. 1 tspsalt
  5. 1/2 cupsugar

Cooking Instructions

    Sift flour into a bowl

  2. 2

    Add in yeast,sugar and salt and whisk together

  3. 3

    Pour in water and mix until well combined

  4. 4

    Cover with a cling film and allow to rise in a warm place for an hour or until it doubles in size

  5. 5

    Heat oil on medium heat and scoop the batter

  6. 6

    Fry until golden and serve with a cup of hot coffee
