Cooking Instructions
- 1
First, combine the powdered okara with the tapioca flour. Next, roast the walnuts for 10 minutes at 160℃, then finely crush.
- 2
Microwave the banana to make it easier to mash. I microwaved it for 1 minute at 600w.
- 3
Mix the bananas from Step 2 into the dry ingredients from Step 1, add the crushed walnuts, then mix with your hands. Coat with maple syrup, then form into a ball with your hands. The batter should feel a bit crumbly.
- 4
Measure out a tablespoon of the batter per cookie. Place the batter on your hand, then shape it into a flat cookie with your fingers.
- 5
Arrange the cookies on a baking tray with the round side up, then bake for 15 minutes at 180℃.
- 6
They are ready when the edges start to turn crisp, and the cookies turn a light golden brown. The photo shows the underside of a cookie.

I used to make these okara cookies a lot. Depending on how thick you make them, they become soft or crispy cookies.I bake them very thin.Make the dough as flat as you can when you bake them. Put the cookies in a container (plastic Tupperware, plate, etc) lined with kitchen towels, and leave them without any cover in the refrigerator. The cookies will dry out and even soft and moist cookies will become crispy with time. Recipe by nokko.t cookpad.japan -

Okara and Banana Cookies, Version 2 Okara and Banana Cookies, Version 2
I wanted to make okara cookies that weren't soft. Please dry roast the okara while watching that it doesn't burn. It takes some time for the okara to get dry enough to produce crispy cookies. The texture of the dried okara should be like dry breadcrumbs.Add only enough banana to bring the okara together into a dough. If you add too much, the cookies won't be crispy. Easy Okara Cookies Easy Okara Cookies
I'm the type that finds washing dishes a pain, so I got the idea of making the cookies this lazy way from another user friend, and changed my method. For crisp and crunchy cookies, roll out the dough as thinly as possible. They burn easily, so adjust the baking time to your oven. If the cookies aren't crisp enough, turn them over and bake a bit longer. Or, to crisp up, put as many as you plan to eat on a plate and microwave. They burn easily, so warm them up in 30 second increments. For 30 x 30 cm [11.8 x 11.8 in] baking sheet. Flour & Oil Free Okara Cookies Flour & Oil Free Okara Cookies
I have been making nothing but okara cake recently, and wanted to eat lots of cookies. But i wanted to keep the calorie count low. That limits on what ingredients I could use so I gave up on making them crispy and decided to switch gears and make them chewy. So I made these. But I don't know if these this chewy bites can be called cookies. But I don't know how else to to call them, so they are cookies.Mix the ingredients well. Adjust the time according to your oven. You can eat these freshly baked from the oven. The surface isn't so crispy, but you'll enjoy the chewy texture. As time goes by, they may lose their crispiness. Please keep that in mind.
