Pouting is in the same family of cod. I fished loads of them. Enjoyed them in many ways, but fresh fish doesn’t need complicated cooking. Just sauté, super delicious. #oceantotable

Ingredients

  1. 1Pouting (cod)
  2. Butter
  3. Salt
  4. Soy sauce (if you like)

Cooking Instructions

    Enjoy fishing. Line catch and release small ones.

    Fillet

  4. 4

    Pinch some salt. (I used wild garlic salt). Put butter on a pan, medium heat. Once butter melt, place the fillet. You can drop some soy sauce if you want.

    Heat both sides, total 3-4 minutes. You should not flip many times, just once. It’s very soft.

    I sautéed asparagus and placed next to the fish.
