Done in 3 minutes! Super Easy Cucumber with Umeboshi Pickled Plum Sauce Done in 3 minutes! Super Easy Cucumber with Umeboshi Pickled Plum Sauce
This dish is great for those times when you need one more dish but you don't have enough time nor ingredients.I came up with this idea just at such a moment and used what I could find in the refrigerator.Honestly, it only takes 3 minutes to make. Easy, but an authentic taste. The tartness of salt-cured plum (umeboshi) is great in this recipe. If using sweet honey-soaked umeboshi, replace the mirin with an equivalent amount of Japanese noodle dipping sauce.Use mentsuyu (Japanese noodle dipping sauce) that's been concentrated about 3-4 times.Adjust the quantity to your liking. Crispy Thinly Sliced Pork with Japanese Leeks and Salty Sauce Crispy Thinly Sliced Pork with Japanese Leeks and Salty Sauce
Our family loves leek-salt sauce with yakiniku (grill or griddle cooked meat) than soy sauce based sauce. The leek-salt sauce they serve at yakiniku restaurant we frequent is so delicious, and seemed easy to recreate, so I tried making it myself. It goes well with chicken karaage (deep fried chicken), so I tried it with thinly sliced pork that was on sale. I also recommend it with crispy chicken skin.I had a lot of oil so I deep fried the meat this time, but you could shallow fry in a frying pan instead. You can coat the meat with potato starch, but if you add rice flour it will be really crispy. The sauce is perfect with stir fried or grilled meats too! Recipe by Recoty cookpad.japan -

Pork Loin with Piping Hot & Thick Daikon Radish Sauce Pork Loin with Piping Hot & Thick Daikon Radish Sauce
Grated daikon goes well with hamburger steaks or grilled meat. I also eat grated daikon in the winter, and one day I thought, "That's it!" and got the idea of thickening with katakuriko. Grated daikon served piping hot is so good.Make the meat flat and spread it out as wide as possible (This is because we will top with grated daikon and eat.) Thicken the sauce a little heavy with katakuriko. Drain the grated daikon water well. The seasoning for the sauce will taste better if it's on the salty side. Serve with a spoon so you can finish both the meat and sauce. For 2 servings. Recipe by Rena0601 cookpad.japan -
Delicious Tofu with Umeboshi Mayo Sauce Delicious Tofu with Umeboshi Mayo Sauce
Drain excess water from the tofu first, cut into small pieces, then mix with the dressing. It prevents the dish from being watery. It also helps to improve the dish's appearance, and makes the dish absorb the flavor better.Use your preferred amount of umeboshi. You can just top the mixed seasoning on the chilled tofu, instead of mixing it all together. You can make many variations by using nori-seaweed tsukudani (simmered in soy sauce), kimchi, spicy salted cod roe, takana pickles, shibazuke (pickled vegetables in salt and shiso leaves), nametake mushrooms, tuna and soy sauce, etc... as a dressing. It's also delicious to sprinkle garnishes, such as sesame seeds. Recipe by Hironozomiyuuma cookpad.japan -
