Express champorado
Chocolate rice pudding for breakfast may sound strange to some people, but it's actually a pretty common Filipino dish. Below is the express, what-to-make-for-the-kid-that's-new version. Adjust it to your liking by increasing the amount of cocoa powder or sugar. Or make it more grown up with a pinch of cayenne pepper.

No sugar added gluten free Blueberry carrot protein cake
I recently discovered I have a gluten allergy and while trying to find foods I can eat (which weren't many I liked) I began eating less and protein became something I was in dire need of. I don't eat too much meat and I can't eat gluten, I love food but my stomach is way too sensitive. So I began venturing out to find a low sugar/no sugar added, gluten free, protein meal big enough to fill me up. And I think I did a great job. Plus the garden of life raw fit protein powder contains Svetol green bean coffee extract as a weight loss bonus!

Rice Flour and Soy Milk Pancakes
I decided to give this a try since I had good quality rice flour on hand!If you have an egg-allergy, use 90ml of soy milk for thick, dense batter. If you are using a non-stick frying pan, you don't need oil.Cook after warming the frying pan over low-medium heat.I recommend you serve it topped with kuromitsu black sugar syrup. Microwave Steamed Rice Flour Bread
I wanted to give my daughter, who has wheat, egg, and milk allergies, some bread to eat.My son, who does not have allergies, also likes this.Since I make these as baby food, I don't usually add sugar, but you can if you prefer Even if you don't add it, the slightly sweet rice flour is still delicious. The amount of soy milk will depend on the amount of dry ingredients and rice flour. It shouldn't be too smooth, but it shouldn't be too thick either. Adjust accordingly. Recipe by kaopomme

Taiwanese Style Pork Jerky (豬肉乾)
Unlike the jerky in the US, the Taiwanese pork jerky are moist and softer but less chewy. They are super easy to make and it's very delicious as a snack. You can chose pork loin for a firmer texture (lean meat), pork belly for a softer texture (fattier meat), or pork shank for a chewier texture (ligament in the meat makes it chewy) but my preference is pork butt because it has the right amount of fat. However, you can choose whatever the pork portion to make this jerky.YouTube Video Instruction: https://youtu.be/rCYkPezvqNQ

Crisp & Fluffy Brown Sugar & Soy Milk Rice Flour Donut Holes
Donuts made from tofu are chewy, but using soy milk instead of tofu gives you crispy and fluffy donuts! Both are delicious.Check the frying time after making one tester. It takes about 3-3 1/2 minutes to cook properly to the center, but depending on the size of the scoop you scooped out with the spoon it may vary slightly. So use the first one as reference. Sugar Cooky Cakes
Another ancient recipe from my Cajun side. My grandmother made her cookies and a sweet pie dough from this recipe. The pie made with this dough has a custard filling. It makes a 2 crust pie. But today, It’s a roll out cooky. They spelled it ‘cooky’ so I will too. It’s a basic recipe for sugar cookies, but add ins are endless. In this batch I added chocolate chips. They’re more like little sugar cooky cakes. Absolutely heavenly. The key to these turning out is to keep the dough ice cold.

In China, porridge is super popular as a breakfast item, especially at local breakfast shops. People usually pair it with baozi or steamed buns.
