Thai Fried Rice

Ingredients

  1. 3 tbspvegetable oil
  2. 8 clovegarlic
  3. 2eggs
  4. 1 cupJasmine Rice
  5. 1 1/2 lbChicken
  6. 4 tbspThai Soy Sauce
  7. 2 tspFish sauce
  8. 1 tspsugar
  9. 1/2 tspwhite pepper
  10. 1Chopped cilantro
  11. 2Lime
  12. 1 bunchgreen onions

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in wok or large non-stick saute pan. Add garlic.

    When garlic starts to brown, add raw protein and cook to about 60% done

  3. 3

    Add egg. Let sit before scrambling.

  4. 4

    Add rice and push down on rice to break up clumps then toss.

  5. 5

    Add fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and white pepper. Continue stirring until seasoning is well distributed and rice is heated through.

    Add green onions and toss just to mix.

    Remove from heat. Serve on plate with lime slice.

Where does protein come in, the ingredients doesn't say you need it, but you say add it in?
