Ingredients

  1. Rice (Parboiled)
  2. Meat(cooked)
  3. Vegetable oil
  4. Pepper mix (grinded)
  5. Meat stock
  6. Tomato paste
  7. Onions(sliced)
  8. Minced ginger and garlic
  9. cubesSeasoning
  10. Black pepper powder
  11. Curry powder
  12. Thyme
  13. Jollof rice seasoning powder
  14. Carrots (diced)
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Hot water

Cooking Instructions

    Parboil the rice, rinse with cold water, drain and keep aside.

    In a pot, heat up oil. Add onion and fry until translucent. Add garlic and ginger, fry for 2mins. Add the grinded pepper mix, tomato paste and cook for 5-7mins.

    Add seasoning and spices, cooked meat and stir well. Add your diced carrots, parboiled rice and mix thoroughly.

    Pour the meat stock, salt, hot water enough to cook the rice and stir well. Cover and allow it to cook until soft and tender.

    When it's done, turn off flame, serve and enjoy.
