Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsemolina/rava
  2. 1 tspmustard seeds
  3. 1 tspcumin seeds
  4. 1 tspChana dal
  5. 1 tspurad dal
  6. 2 tbsppeanuts
  7. 1 inchginger finely chopped
  8. 1-2green Chilli finely chopped
  9. as requiredFew curry leaves
  10. 1onion finely chopped
  11. 1small capsicum finely chopped
  12. 1small carrot finely chopped
  13. 1/4 cupgreen peas
  14. 1 tbsplemon juice
  15. to tasteSalt
  16. 3 tbspghee
  17. as requiredCoriander leaves
  18. 3 cupswater

Cooking Instructions

    Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a kadhai or pan add semolina and roast semolina for 1-2 minute or until the aroma comes out. Transfer it in a plate.keep aside. In the same kadhai add remaining ghee add peanuts and roast for few seconds.remove it and keep aside.

    Turn the flame low add cumin seeds,mustard seeds,Chana dal and urad dal.roast them for few seconds add chopped ginger,curry leaves and green Chilli.saute sometime then add chopped onion.

    Saute the onion on medium flame for 2 minutes. Add chopped carrot,capsicum,and green peas. Mix and cook for 2 minutes on medium to high flame. Add 3 cups of water and salt to taste.bring it a boil.

    When water started boiling turn the flame low and add roasted semolina little by little and keep stirring. Cook for a minute on low flame.

    When the mixture started thick cover and cook for 2 minutes on low flame. After that open the lid.add lemon juice and roasted peanuts.mix well. Garnish with some coriander leaves and serve.
