I should know because I’ve tried a few. 😜 This recipe consistently yields a cake which is chocolatey, light, and fluffy. The best part is that it fully cooks under two minutes in a microwave! And it’s so easy that my six-year-old daughter is capable of making it! It makes enough cake for 2 people. My husband's favorite cake 😻

I woke up with a crave attack and was in need of a moist chocolate cake. Up until then, I had never made one from scratch before so I started scouring the Internet and I came across this one. I tweaked it just a bit (instead of espresso powder, I used instant coffee and I added it to the water to dissolve). You will never need another chocolate cake recipe after trying this one. My husband is not a chocolate cake fan but he loves this one!

This recipe came from my good friend Chef Glenn Walden and it goes great with the Best Chocolate Buttercream.Also great as a cupcakes.
