Crab Gratin Made in a Crab Shell

I had crab shells, so I wanted to use them for something. You can of course use gratin plates for this delicious crab gratin.

When adding the cake flour, sprinkle evenly in the pan. In addition, add milk little by little while mixing. This way you can avoid lumps in the sauce and it will be creamy. For 2 servings. Recipe by Minrin

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 130 gramsFlaked crab meat
  2. 50 gramsMacaroni
  3. 300 mlMilk
  4. 50 mlHeavy cream
  5. 1/2Onion
  6. 20 gramsButter
  7. 25 gramsCake flour
  8. 1 tspSoup stock granules
  9. 1 dashSalt and pepper
  10. 1Mayonnaise
  11. 1Pizza cheese
  12. 1Fresh parsley
  13. 3Crab shells

Cooking Instructions

    Slice the onion thinly. Boil macaroni in salted water.

    Put butter in a pan, and sauté the onion. When it has wilted, scatter cake flour, mix together lightly, and turn the heat down to low.

    When the flouriness is gone, add the milk little by little while mixing. Continue mixing until the milk is thickened, then add the soup stock granules.

    When the sauce comes to a boil add the cream, crab meat and macaroni. Season with salt and pepper.

    Put the mixture into the crab shells. Make lines on top with the mayonnaise, and scatter on pizza cheese.

    Put the crab shells on a baking sheet, and bake in a 480°F/250°C oven until browned.

    Scatter with parsley and it's done.
