I wanted to make a rice bowl with ginger pork but instead, I put the stir-fry on shredded cabbage.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 200 gramsThinly sliced pork or roughly chopped pork
  2. 1/2Onion
  3. 100 gramsCabbage
  4. 1 tbspFlour
  5. 1/2 tbspVegetable oil
  6. [A]
  7. 2 tbspSoy sauce
  8. 2 tbspSake
  9. 1 tbspMirin
  10. 1 tspSugar
  11. 1 pieceGInger (grated)

Cooking Instructions

    Shred the cabbage thinly and slice the onion into thin wedges. Cut the pork into bite sized pieces.

    Coat the pork with flour evenly.

  3. 3

    Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Loosen the pork pieces and place in the frying pan. Fry on both sides and add the onion. Stir until the onion has softened.

    Add the combined [A] ingredients and stir fry over high heat until almost all the liquid has evaporated.

    Transfer onto a bed of finely shredded cabbage. Eat the pork, onion and cabbage together!
